MSD585 AS - Designed for Search and Rescue professionals, the Mustang Survival MSD585 AS is a lightweight, waterproof and breathable dry suit constructed to exceed the requirements for sea going boat operations. The MSD585 AS can also be used for rescue operations, or any other operation where waterproof breathable dry suits are required.

The MSD585 AS Boat Crew Dry Suit offers enhanced protection while providing the comfort and functionality needed for marine operations. Made of lightweight waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex®, the MSD585 AS includes internal suspenders for a near custom fit.

Fleece lined hand warmers offer relief for cold, wet hands and the adjustable storm collar protects against rain or sea spray and can be folded out of the way when not in use. The cross chest waterproof entry zipper provides quick donning capability and incorporates a t-handle grip for easy opening and closing. The relief zipper opens vertically for easy operation. Elbows, knees and seat are reinforced with 500 Denier Cordura® and reflective tape on the arms increase visibility.  Easy clip belt keepers stabilize duty belts and gear without the hassle of an over the shoulder harness.

The MSD585 AS incorporates an adjustable heavy duty elastic waist band that buckles in the front to gather the suit's excess fabric. Five law enforcement belt keepers are positioned to provide maximum stability for carried equipment. The pockets are designed with the operator and equipment in mind. Fleece lined hand warmers and deep easy access cargo pockets are optimally positioned. An easy access sleeve pocket has also been provided. The calf mounted pocket accommodates the thermal hood MA7348, purchased separately, and is easily accessible in overboard situations.

Hypothermia protection is provided when the Mustang Survival MSD585 AS is worn with insulating dry suit liner MSL351, MSL600 Male or MSL601 Female. As with any traditional dry suit, thermal performance of the MSD585 AS Boat Crew Dry Suit is dependent on the type and thickness of the undergarment worn.
