MATERIALS
Only the finest approved materials are used in the construction
of this immersion suit. The 6.5mm closed-cell neoprene rubber is
extremely flexible and resilient through a broad temperature range
from -30°C to 60°C. Also, it is chemically treated to resist flame.
Thermal protective qualities exceed the requirements of S.O.L.A.S.
74/83. This rubber is inherently buoyant so even if the suit is
punctured or torn, the wearer will not sink. The heavy duty,
precision zipper provides a watertight closure. This same zipper is
used in underwater diving dry suits. Click
here for information on how to clean your Immersion Suit.
CONSTRUCTION
All seams are triple glued and then stitched. Stress areas of
the suit are reinforced with a specialized coating to provide even
greater strength.
TESTING
Standards for approval require that 1 suit out of every 100
produced be selected for testing by an independent laboratory. This
ensures that the suits continually meet specific performance
standards.
