It
is common practice to construct team section center lines of 12-strand
1/8" polyethylene and tug lines & necklines out of 8-strand 1/4"
polyethylene so they are easy to distinguish in case of a tangle. When
a heavy duty center line is required, 1/2" polyethylene is used.
